Connect to your game server: Satisfactory, Valheim, Palworld and more
Where to enter your server's address and port in each game, and what to do first.
Most games ask for the IP address (or the address from Dash) and the port. You find both under Overview → Connect. Some games use extra ports, for example a query port, but players only need the address and port shown there.

Satisfactory
- Main menu → Server Manager → Add Server.
- Enter the address and the port and confirm.
- The first player who connects claims the server: give it a name and set an admin password right away.
Claim a new Satisfactory server immediately. Until then, anyone who knows the address can claim it.
Valheim
- Start Game → choose your character → Join Game tab.
- Click Add server, enter address:port (for example 203.0.113.10:2456) and connect.
- Enter the server password from the Game settings tab.
Palworld
- Choose Join Multiplayer Game (Dedicated Server).
- Enter address:port in the field at the bottom and click Connect.
- Enter the server password if you set one.
Rust
Press F1 to open the console and type client.connect address:port (for example client.connect 203.0.113.10:28015).
Counter-Strike 2 · Garry's Mod
Turn on the developer console in the game settings, open it with the ~ key and type connect address:port. For a password-protected server, type password yourpassword first.
Factorio
Multiplayer → Connect to address → enter address:port.
Terraria · tModLoader
Multiplayer → Join via IP → choose a character → enter the address, then the port.
Project Zomboid
Join → enter IP and Port, choose a username and password for your account on this server (created on your first login) and the server password if one is set.
7 Days to Die

ARK: Survival Evolved
Press Tab in the game to open the console and type open address:port.
Still not connecting?
- The server must show Running in Dash.
- Most games need the same game version as the server.
- Firewall rules on the Network tab can block players: allow the game ports.
- Open a support ticket and include the error message.
