Change game, upgrade or downgrade your server
Switch to another game on the same subscription, add resources at once or reduce them at the next renewal.
Your subscription is not tied to one game. You can switch the game, change the plan or adjust single resources at any time from the server page.
Change the game
- Open the server and go to the Game tab, then choose Change game.
- Pick the new game and version. If it needs more resources than you have, the form shows the upgrade it needs.
- Confirm: the server is reinstalled with the new game and keeps its address.
Changing the game deletes all files of the server and its backups. Download anything you want to keep (Files tab or SFTP) before you switch.
Upgrade: more power right away
On the Plan & resources tab, choose a bigger plan or move the sliders up. You pay only the difference for the rest of the current period; once it is paid, the server restarts with the new resources. The next renewal is one invoice at the new price.
Downgrade: less at the next renewal
Choosing a smaller plan or fewer resources is scheduled for the end of the period you already paid, so you keep what you paid for until then. Downgrades are not refunded. A disk can only shrink when your files still fit.
